EDUCATION MINISTRY

The education ministry of First Baptist Church provides learning opportunities through Bible study, mission's education , and doctrinal study.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Sunday School of First Baptist Church is the Bible study, outreach, ministry, and fellowship arm of the church. No matter the age, there is a class provided for each individual. Outreach Bible study is provided for individuals who find themselves confined by health reasons.

MISSIONS
There is a complete graded mission's organization. Opportunities to learn and support missions, whether local, state, national, or international is provided. Prayer for and support of missions is foundational at First Baptist Church.

DOCTRINAL AND SPECIAL INSTEREST STUDIES
A variety of doctrinal and special interest studies are provided through short-term class settings.

Remember to "study to show thyself approved as a workman".

STUDENT MINISTRY

The purpose of the student ministry at First Baptist Church, Winona is to provide a caring environment that introduces teens to Jesus, encourages their discipleship, and offers them opportunities for service, and leads them to honor god with their lives.

Sunday School is an ongoing opportunity for students to grow in their relationship with God through interactive Bible study.

DEEP IMPACT is a time of praise and worship on Wednesday night specifically for students. This praise & worship, Bible study time is student oriented and student led.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

The purpose of our Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church, Winona is to provide age-appropriate activities to meet the spiritual and social needs of preschooler and grade school children. There are many ongoing activities for our children. Some of those are Sunday School, Choir, GA's, RA's, and Bible Drills.

There are a key events each year that children strongly support.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Whether through voice or instrument, there is an opportunity for each person to be a part of ministry through music at First Baptist Church, Winona.

Adults, students, children, and preschoolers have an avenue of the expression of their worship to God and ministry for His kingdom by the use of their musical gifts.

There are choirs for preschoolers. children, youth, and adults. There is a handbell choir. There is also an occasional instrument ensemble.

The desire of the Music Ministry of First Baptist Church is to worship God and share His love by the sharing of Christ's song in each heart.
